Things to Do
Fort Worth is home to the Fort Worth Zoo and its collection of over 5,000 animals. The zoo has been named the number one attraction in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex and has over one million visitors annually. Another attraction is the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, the oldest stock show in the country. This three week event features an indoor rodeo, a huge carnival midway filled with attractions, educational exhibits, shopping and livestock shows and sales. Sundance Square, a 16-block entertainment center with entertainment for everyone, is located in the heart of the city. The Square includes a mixture of national chain and locally unique restaurants, nightclubs, boutiques, museums, live theaters and art galleries.
