Ted’s Trout Pond and Ted’s Sweetwater Grill formally opened at the end of May in the RainDance community in Windsor. The pond is located at the gateway to the community and features 2,500 trout, 250 of which are lucky Golden Trout. Those lucky trout, when caught, get the fisherman tickets to a Colorado Eagles game!
Soon, people will be able to have the adjacent Ted’s Sweetwater Grill cook up their fish as well. The new eatery and bar serves fresh fish, burgers, and sandwiches and adult beverages will soon be added to the menu. The Colorado Cherry Company will still be selling pie and pastries out of the location.
Ted’s Trout Pond and Sweetwater Grill are named after Ted Lind, Martin Lind’s father, who used to farm the land that is now RainDance. Ted cast the first line and caught the first trout at the grill’s ribbon-cutting ceremony that was also attended by new Windsor Mayor Paul Rennemeyer.
American Legend Homes is proud to build single family homes starting in the low $400s in a community with such outstanding family-friendly amenities.
