All you need is a few wooden clothes pins, foam hearts, a hot glue gun and paint! Just glue the end of a clothes pin to the foam heart, dip in paint and voila!
Valentine popsicle stick magnet
For this fun craft from www.craftcreatecook.com, you’ll need popsicle sticks, white craft paint, foam paint brush, red and pink buttons, a hot glue gun, white card stock and magnets from the back. Glue your popsicle sticks together into a square shape, paint your frame white and let it dry. One the frame is dry, carefully glue buttons all over the front. Then, cut a piece of cardstock to fit the frame, write a special message and glue it to the back of the frame. Finally, carefully attach magnets to the pack of the frame.
"Love you to pieces” Valentine’s Day Wreath
This Valentine’s Day wreath from www.thesoccermomblog.com is a clever and inexpensive way to get into the spirit of love. Simply paint some puzzle pieces white, red and shades of pink, cut a heart shape out of a recycled cereal or cardboard box, glue the puzzle pieces around the heart shape, tie to a piece of string and it’s ready to hang!
Tissue paper “stained glass” sun catcher
This pretty craft from www.theturquoisehome.com is easy to make with just tissue paper in Valentine’s Day colors (or any colors you like), laminating sheets, a hole punch, scissors and ribbon. Cut out large heart shapes for each project you’d like to complete, place it on a single sided sheet of laminating sheet, sprinkle small pieces of tissue paper within the heart shape and place a second piece of laminating sheet over the first. To complete your project, cut around your heart, leaving space between the edge of your heart and your cut line to keep the laminating sheets in place. Finally, punch a hole through the top and hang it in the window with a piece of ribbon.
