American Legend Homes is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the continued growth of our 20-year company. This is a great opportunity for an individual with 1-3 years of accounts payable experience to be part of a cohesive 4-person team and a solid, diversified organization. Job Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Correspond with vendors, Division Managers and Construction Managers on invoice inquiries
Perform invoice reconciliation when needed
Research past-due invoices
Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure proper coding of invoices
Accurately enter new vendors
Assist in the printing and mailing of checks
Assist in proper filing of paid invoices
Qualifications/Skills
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
1-3 years of related experience and/or training
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear

Senior Accountant: Job Description
American Legend Homes is seeking a Senior Accountant to principally support the Company’s Controller, including direct responsibility for the financial and cost accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for an individual with 2-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience to be an integral member of a dynamic team within an established and growing company. This role will be ideal for a multi-tasking, self-starter who consistently demonstrates a professional, proactive, and positive attitude and an aptitude for learning and intellectual growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily journaling of the following types of entries: revenue, vacant lot purchases, lot conversions
Make bank deposits and associated journal entries
Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliations when required to ensure accuracy
Assist in all aspects of the month-end close process
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for the Company’s Board of Directors
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and compliance certificates for the Company’s lenders
Assist in processing and reconciling property tax statements annually and work with homeowner’s where true-ups are required
Assist the Controller and CFO in preparing annual budgets
Track individual profit projections for sold homes and compare to actuals on monthly basis
Prepare aggregated monthly profit projections based on sold backlog
Work with and provide financial information to external auditors
Support Controller and CFO on ad-hoc FP&A projects
REQUIRED EDCUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
2-5 years of relevant experience
Foundational understanding of U.S. GAAP
Broad general ledger background
Familiarity with financial audit process
Familiarity with enterprise accounting software program(s)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Self-starter with ability to be effective without continuous oversight
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills

Conduct 30-day orientation meetings with homeowners after closing
Assist homeowners with questions and concerns and provide advice on routine home maintenance
Maintain an effective and organized system for monitoring and tracking the status of all work orders from request to completion
Field warranty requests and promptly contact homeowners to schedule onsite inspection
During inspection, properly identify issues and devise a repair plan
Coordinate with various trade vendors to schedule the respective repairs
Follow up with homeowners and trades to confirm all appointments and communicate repair status
Maintain the cleanliness of all homes undergoing warranty work
Complete the appropriate warranty request documentation
Oversee the management of warranty expenses
