American Legend offers proximity to world’s “Most Innovative Retail and Entertainment Project”

North Texas’ Grandscape development, located just minutes from American Legend Homes’ Castle Hills and The Tribute communities, was recently named the “World’s Most Innovative Retail and Entertainment Project.” The honor came from Retail and Leisure International, a global publication dedicated to the international retail and entertainment industry. 

So, what exactly about Grandscape has gotten the world’s attention? Here are a few facts about this unique destination, located along State Highway 121 in The Colony area:

• Grandscape is a $1.5 billion, 433-acre mixed-use development that was originally anchored by the massive 560,000-square-foot Nebraska Furniture Mart. But there’s more to Grandscape than just furniture shopping.

• Grandscape’s newest attraction is a 200-foot-tall Ferris Wheel that has 42 gondolas, including a special VIP gondola with a glass bottom floor. The Ferris Wheel offers stunning views of the city!

• “Jurassic World: The Exhibition” is the “closest you’ll ever come to living dinosaurs” and immerses audiences of all ages in mesmerizing scenes inspired by the movies. 

• Puttery puts a grown-up spin on putt-putt. This “adult playground” features 20,700 square feet of entertainment with four 9-hole courses and several places to lounge with cocktails.

• Electric Gamebox is a fully immersive gaming experience that uses using projection mapping, 3D motion tracking and surround sound in digital smart rooms.

• Plus, the luxury Galaxy Theater has 16(!) screens and there’s also an Andretti indoor go kart-track.

• You’ll obviously work up an appetite at Grandscape. No problem. There are currently more than 30 restaurants, bars and eateries there, with options like burgers, barbecue, pizza, curry, wine bars and sports bistros.
