American Legend kids in Kitchel Lake at Serratoga Falls attend great schools in the Poudre School District. Timnath Elementary School         
Timnath Elementary School has been providing excellent educational experiences in the Timnath area for over 100 years. It is a neighborhood school that follows the Colorado Academic Standards, and it is committed to providing students with a well-rounded educational experience. In addition to providing strong instruction in the core content areas of reading, writing, math, science and social studies, it also values and provides instruction in music, art, PE, technology, health and social/emotional learning. It has staffing and support systems in place to meet a wide range of student needs including gifted and talented, English language development, Special Education, literacy intervention, speech, occupational therapy, counseling and mental health support needs.

Preston Middle School 
As a Pre-Advanced Placement (AP) school, Preston’s accelerated math, honors and science courses prepare students be successful in the high school AP curriculum. Preston’s focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) provides students with relevant opportunities to compete in a global world. These core academics are balanced with other choices in electives, the arts, and athletics to ensure a whole child approach to learning. Preston students may participate in jazz choir, writing club, MathCounts, drama productions, outdoor club, First Robotics, science fair, book club, biotechnology, flight simulation, gifted and talented options, and more. Support from parents and the community has contributed to Preston students’ high level of success in First Lego League and Science Olympiad.

Fossil Ridge High School 
The mission at Fossil Ridge High School is to ensure that upon graduating from Fossil Ridge High School, each student will possess the character, skills, aptitude and knowledge to successfully engage in every option they choose in work and in post-secondary education. The Goal at Fossil Ridge is “Excellence, Everywhere.” The school emphasizes this with students and staff throughout the year.
